Immersion Assembly

On Monday the 12th of October, we had our Term 4 Immersion Assembly.Teachers,families and kids were supportive and all came to watch.

The topic and message for this term is PES Survivors Outlast,Outwit and Outsmart.The theme for this term is about animals and how they adapt in a different environment. One of the movies was about Animals they had to find where they were and it was from  Team 4.

In one presentation we saw Team 1 with Karaoke,it woul’ve of been challenging to do karaoke on stage.

For the overall Assembly we have learn’t to adapt,outlast,outwit.I liked the performance because it taught us about animals and how to outwit!

 

   

   

My Brainstorm.

Today we have been learning about adjectives and this is our brainstorm for the Immersion Assembly.Here is an idea.   

One Pacific Producions

On Friday the 18th September 2015 Nesian Fusion performed at Pt England School Assembly.They spun the Aialo for have an hour.On their costume logo it said One pacific Productions.

 To me it was like a dress rehearsal practice performance There was beat boxing,slow music and also Brazillian music as well.It showed me that they can spin fast and slow.
No to fear even when they dropped the stick they still carried on.Don't be afraid to stand again.

 I liked the way that they spun the Aialo under their leg because it was pretty fast.But most of all i like the way that Mele and the others were doing the Samoan dance.

Cross Country

On a bright sunny morning Cross Country started.We got  out of our uniform and into our gear.Cross Country was held at the Reserve and also PT England School .The whole school was there and including Teachers and Parents.

When we Finish getting change Mrs Nua Took us to the Court.As me and my friends walked to the Court we could see all of the other class compet for Cross Country.We got called to run.

Mr Burt told us to exercise because we didn't want a

stitch. I felt very nervous on the line. when Mr Burt put his clapper up and said Ready,Get set and go

i ran as fast as i could then when we ran around the cone there was this big muddy patch some people fell in the puddle.

Then we exit the gate and onto the reserve i was in lead.As i ran i pushed my self to come first.I was really tired then i terned to run straight.We were allmost done the run.

Then the rase finest ifelt so happy that i came 3 place.

If i had a million dollars

Man if i had a  million dollars I’ll visit JB HI-FI, smiggles and Warehouse as well.Spending time at all of those stores will be my dream.

At my first store I’ll spend at the warehouse is clothings and shoes because when i go out with my family I look nice!!! .

   

At the second store i’ll spend at JB HI-FI is Ipad,tablet,Iphone and a apple laptop so i can give it to my family to have for callings and other stuff too!!!

And at my last store the smiggles i’ll buy pens,bags and stationery stuff for school and my sister has a new bag!!!

If I had spare money i’ll buy stuff and things for my family like food,clothings and all other stuff to.

Holiday Highlight

In the sunny holidays I went to celebrate the maori new year. It is called Matariki.

When walked to see the lights in a park in Glen Innes. I felt like the whole park was lit up.

The lights were called the matariki light trail because there was trails of lights. They twinkled at me.

As I walked in the muddy trail my arms and legs were freezing cold. All my cousins and I were playing hide and clap. It was so fun!

How to play hide and clap is there is a person with a material and there is people hiding in the lights.The person has to say 1th clap 2 clap,3 clap.
