Diving at the pool

Yasmin couldn’t dive into the pool. She kept diving and one of the boys was bullying  her. She was emburst.

Her mum was going to teach her. Yasmin’s mum taught her how to dive

and pretend that there were springs on her feet. She did it! Yasmin is now going to participate in the swimming Carnival.

the life Education carvan

Have you ever been to the life Education caravan  before? Every year we go there to learn about keeping our bodies safe.we learn about ways of keeping our bodies healthy and good our body parts.

We learned about five things that help our bodies to grow. one of them is eating healthy food like fruit. you can only eat 2 fruit or 1 A day. it’s good to always drink water because it is good  for you. We need plenty of oxygen and rest too.  

The thing I liked the most is that we got to explain about what we eat in our countries.

this week we have been leaning about length.To learn about kilometres we used google maps.We had to find out how many kilometres there are from Auckland to Wellington.The answer is 650 km.

I found out that there are 4 hours and 31 kilometres from Auckland to taupo

my holiday Highlight

Did you enjoy the holidays? well i did me and my family went to my mum sisters wedding her name is Francis. we went to a church in Manurewa and that is where she got married. the food was yum to eat at the reception in the hall. My favourite part of the wedding was when my aunty sang a song for the cutting of the cake.

On the second week of the holiday we got to get into our uniform to perform a cook island dance at the Glen Innes markets. my parents watched me perform. I liked when my Mum and Dad watched me I love them.

My favorite part of the wedding was that my aunty was happy.I felt so glad that i was going back to school!!!

this week we are learning about length for measurement. today I made a paper plane to lean about length and to show how long the paper plane goes.so we measured how long the paper plane went.my paper plane only went 3steps
 long.
