Holiday Highlight

In the sunny holidays I went to celebrate the maori new year. It is called Matariki.

When walked to see the lights in a park in Glen Innes. I felt like the whole park was lit up.

The lights were called the matariki light trail because there was trails of lights. They twinkled at me.

As I walked in the muddy trail my arms and legs were freezing cold. All my cousins and I were playing hide and clap. It was so fun!

How to play hide and clap is there is a person with a material and there is people hiding in the lights. The person has to say 1th clap 2 clap,3 clap.
