Immersion Assembly

On Monday the 12th of October, we had our Term 4 Immersion Assembly.Teachers,families and kids were supportive and all came to watch.

The topic and message for this term is PES Survivors Outlast,Outwit and Outsmart.The theme for this term is about animals and how they adapt in a different environment. One of the movies was about Animals they had to find where they were and it was from  Team 4.

In one presentation we saw Team 1 with Karaoke,it woul’ve of been challenging to do karaoke on stage.

For the overall Assembly we have learn’t to adapt,outlast,outwit.I liked the performance because it taught us about animals and how to outwit!

In room 9 and 10 we have been learning to use adjective's in  sentences. Here is my presentation giving clues that describe where I am in the school.Do you no where i am? 

Paragraph writing- Man in Space

This week we have been learning to rework our writing to make our paragraphs interesting for our audience. 

We started by writing a creative sentence about this picture. As a class we will choose Nate's sentence because we liked it the best and wrote a paragraph each to follow the chosen sentence. Here is the beginning of my story that starts with Nate's sentence.

                                                       

A spaceman bravely walks out into the icy milkyway. He bounces across the stars to his rocket ship. He had a great walk out in space.

When he got to his ship he saw a strange looking thing he said “what is that? Oh it’s an alien.”

As the alien was looking at the human the human was jumping as fast as he could but the alien was just standing there. the human looked back at the alien.The alien had humongous! eye’s and had a green face.

The human was scared.But he was not scared of the alien because he thought that was an scary thing.but it’s just an alien.
